Sandmark Custom Homes features two homes for the annual Outer Banks Home Builders Association Parade of Homes, October 6th – 9th.
This new home is at 217 Wax Myrtle Trail in Southern Shores.
This classic coastal home designed by Sea Swept Design is the home of longtime friends Barry and Beth Pernell. Growing up Beth spent her summers on the Outer Banks. When they were ready to follow their dream of owning a home at the beach, Sandmark Custom Homes made it happen. From finding their lot to customizing the design of the home Sandmark Custom Homes created a home to suit a multi-generational family. This custom home features five bedrooms, four full baths, an open great room, dining room, and kitchen with a walk-in pantry and laundry for the family dogs. Two bedrooms on the main level, two bedrooms on the upper level with a shared bathroom, and downstairs is the recreation room, a bedroom, and a bath. A spacious covered porch on the back overlooks the pool and hot tub area.
Sandmark Custom Homes is pleased to feature a second home at this year’s Outer Banks Home Builders Association Parade of Homes. “Bella” can be found at 116 Scarborough Lane in Duck, NC.
“Bella” is the fourth remodel Sandmark Custom Homes completed for the Baughman family’s four Duck rental homes. The outside updates to the home include a new gravel driveway, new paint, and an upgrade to the pool area. We replaced the existing fiberglass pool and concrete decking with a new concrete pool, travertine pavers, Trex decking and a spiral staircase to the sundeck. Interior home updates include a kitchen renovation with new cabinets, appliances, and granite countertops. The home has new hardwood floors and carpeting, upgraded lighting fixtures and new furniture which completed the interior design. This classic coastal home is one that renters will enjoy for years to come.
