This year’s theme takes inspiration from the Blue Zones, regions of the world known for their health, longevity, and joy—and what better way to celebrate than with a Sardinian-inspired evening that transports us straight to the coast of Italy? The event will feature live music, dancing, and a curated culinary experience highlighting the vibrant flavors of Sardinia, one of the original Blue Zones.
For us, this theme feels extra special. Back in 2018, we traveled to Italy for our daughter Amanda’s wedding—a trip filled with beautiful memories, stunning landscapes, and incredible food. While we’ve been dreaming of a return trip ever since, this Gala will give us a little taste of Italy right here in the Outer Banks. It’s a can’t-miss evening for anyone who loves great food, good music, and a meaningful cause.
