On June 11th Mark and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary!!
What a beautiful June summer day in 1988 at the Selma Plantation in Leesburg, Virginia surrounded by family and friends. I was a little late to the ceremony with my girlfriend’s, we were upstairs in the house getting ready, maybe that is why I always try to be on time everywhere we go.
The last 10,957 days have been the most amazing to be able to call Mark my loving husband, a fantastic father to Sam & Amanda, a best friend to share our adventures with and business partner to create homes for so many wonderful clients & friends.
In our 30 years together, we have laughed and cried together, celebrated the birth of two wonderful children, Sam and Amanda, built our little life together on the Outer Banks, shared lots of good times with family and friends, traveled to exciting places, built a successful business, given back to our community that we call home, and more than anything have always been there for each other, in good days and bad ones.
I can’t imagine what my life would have been like without you for the last 30 years. I’m looking forward to another amazing 30 years with you. A special THANK YOU to Karen Wucher who introduced us some 32 years ago.
I excited for our next 10,957 days together! I love you, Mark Martin!
